The audible reaction of the observer in the crowd says it all. Class.

It was a few weeks ago at this stage, but anyone who was present at the Leinster League Division 1B clash between Kilkenny and Malahide earlier this month will have been privileged to witness a quite superb piece of individual skill in the build-up to a wonderful Kilkenny try on the day.

The man responsible for the moment of genius was Kilkenny out-half Liam Caddy, who dinked a lovely chip over the Malahide defence with the outside of his right boot and, without breaking stride, flicked it one-handed into the path of onrushing wing Evan Dixon, who touched down in the corner to give the move the finish it deserved.

The unidentified onlooker in the crowd was certainly impressed and so she should have been; a move like that wouldn’t look out of place in the Aviva during the November series next month.

Hat-tip to the lads at Rugby Dump for their help with this one and to Edward Brennan for sending it our way
