All of a sudden, we love the Man City man…
James Milner seems to be the very definition of a ‘Marmite footballer’.
Now, we’re not stating that the Man City midfielder isn’t 90% composed of a sticky, dark brown food paste that has a distinctive flavour, but rather that his style of play seems to divide opinion.
We’re big admirers of Milner though, because as he demonstrated over the weekend when he played as a false number nine against Crystal Palace, the England international is a managers dream.
It seems though that Milner is better known amongst the public thanks to the hilarious parody account on Twitter ‘Boring James Milner’ who constantly take the mickey out of his ‘dull’ persona.

The parody account has over 363,000 followers already, but we have nothing but respect for Milner after he brilliantly joined in with the joke with this promotional video for Man City.
