Video: Manchester United slip to a 2-0 defeat as Zlatan scores a tasty tiki-taka goal for PSG

Phil Jones and De Gea had a day to forget.

Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal has been predominantly linked with a striker during Man Utd’s tour of the US but after their 2-0 defeat to PSG, you might see a few defenders being mentioned regarding a move to Old Trafford.

First-half goals from Blaise Matuidi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic proved to be the difference last night as David De Gea had a far from settled performance in the Manchester United goal.

Granted it’s only a pre-season match and I’m sure that all all United fans couldn’t care less about this result if it means that United pick up a win on the opening day against Spurs but the defeat will definitely give Van Gaal some food for thought.

De Gea was taken off at half-time and replaced by fourth choice ‘keeper Sam Johnstone and this mix-up with Phil Jones for Matuidi’a opener might have something to do with the Dutchman’s thinking.

If the opener for the Parisians was scrappy then their second goal was a think of pure art. Take a look at some tiki-taka at its very best before a certain Swedish striker finishes off the move off aplomb.
