VIDEO: Martin O’Neill sets off fire alarm in TV3 studios with a wicked half-volley
Still got it.
Martin O’Neill’s playing days came to an end a long time ago, but the Ireland boss is still well able to play a bit if footage from the TV3 studios last night is anything to go by.
The Republic of Ireland boss was appearing as a pundit for the station’s coverage of the Euro 2016 final and showed that he’s a dab hand at the keepy-uppies behind the scenes in footage captured by floor manager Janine Curran on Sunday night.
Martin soon decided that a well-timed half-volley in the direction of Tommy Martin, Kevin Kilbane and Neil Lennon was in order, a shot so fierce that it set off the fire alarm out in Ballymount.

And, in a typical Irish reaction to a fire alarm, everyone stood around laughing as opposed to making any attempt to leave the building.
Still got it, Martin.
