The Rugby League international was abandoned following this ugly incident.

There were shocking scenes in Serbia recently when the Irish international team faced their hosts. Ireland were cruising, 24-16 ahead, when all hell broke loose.

Winger Rob Armstrong had already scored two tries and was running through for his third, before the Serbian coach intervened. The Irish back was caught blindsided from the sideline and struck full force in the face.

Footage has emerged of the ensuing brawl, which caused the match to be abandoned and the local police force to get involved.

Hopefully, the powers-that-be can deal with the instigators.

On Saturday, the Ireland vs Serbia Rugby League match was abandoned in the 61st minute. Here's why…. reportedly one of the Serbian backroom staff ran onto the pitch and hit an Irish player which sparked the riot.
