It is hard to escape Mike Tyson these days as he is on the promotion trail for his new book ‘Undisputed Truth’ and he pops up again in a new ad for Foot Locker in the US.
Hosted by young NBA star Kyrie Irving, the premise of the ad is that Foot Locker’s new promotion is so good, it makes ‘everything right with the world’.
That then moves to Tyson popping around to his old foe’s house to give him his ear back. The ad also features a jab at Denis Rodman where he finally moves to North Korea to everyone’s delight and Brett Favre ‘quits’ a breakfast, a reference to his constant links about returning to the NFL.
The ad is pretty good, especially Tyson’s snarl as he goes in for the hug with Holyfield.
