Munster’s Jerry Flannery went deep into the heart of D4 last night, but luckily he brought Malcolm O’Kelly and Fergus McFadden with him for company. Here’s how the night went.

The hottest ticket in town last night was an invite to the third JOE Rugby Roadshow. Held in The Bath Pub, right beside Aviva Stadium in Ballsbridge, we knew the place would be stacked with Leinster fans, so we roped in former star Malcolm O’Kelly and current star Fergus McFadden to make sure Fla didn’t get in too much trouble.

As you will see below, he did his best anyway, but we are happy to report he escaped unharmed as our own Mike Sheridan and Conor Heneghan fielded the usual high standard of questions from those in attendance. They ranged from asking what were Ulster’s odds of Heineken Cup success to what is the largest animal each of our panellists could attach to a lamppost using cling film. Yep, that’s a real question, and one taken very seriously by our panel.

The entertainment didn’t stop there, with Fergus unveiling his now world famous, and world class, Mike Tyson impersonation to the delight of the massive crowd too.

And if you want to have the full experience, both parts of the audio are available for your listening pleasure below (or you can grab them from iTunes by subscribing here), and we’ll have plenty of pictures from the night headed your way soon enough too.

Big thanks to Heineken and all the folks at The Bath Pub for their brilliant work on the event all week and especially last night.
