After asking for a ‘timeout’ Claudinei Angelo decided enough was enough, and hopped the wall to end his fight with Evilasio Silva.
Nobody likes getting punched in the face, but if you are an MMA fighter, it tends to go with the territory. However, a recent JF Fight Evolution bout in Brazil ended very abruptly when one of the fighters decided enough was enough.
Claudinei Angelo deliberately spat out his gumshield in a bid to pause the action in his fight with fellow Brazilian Evilasio Silva. The ref refused so then Angelo indicated he needed a ‘timeout’.
Neither the ref or Silva knew what the hell he was on about so the fight looked set to resume when Angelo tried to get out the door of the cage, only to find it locked.
Not to be outdone, Angelo then clambered over the top of the cage and headed back to the safety of the dressing room.
We suspect he won’t be getting a shout from Dana White any time soon.
