You may have seen the wicked blood spurt from Leslie Smith’s ear in the UFC a couple of weeks ago. Well, if you thought that spray of blood was bad, check out this one from a couple of months ago.
Rance Jones fought and defeated Dion Rizzuto back in September at the Atlas Fighting Championships in the US, with Jones winning via TKO in the opening round. The video has only just gone up now and we can see the real reason why Rizzuto was knocked by Jones’ punch.
Rizzuto had suffered cauliflower ear while in training and didn’t have them packed or drained before the fight. Therefore, when he was punched on the ear, it exploded in spectacularly gruesome fashion.
We have watched the video multiple times and it still does not make it easier viewing so we urge you not to watch if you are eating or a little squeamish around blood.
