The dangers of celebrating too early are most certainly well-known for anyone who ever played football in the school yard back in the day, but for Nick Young of the Lakers, who goes by the name Swaggy P, it was learned too late.

Towards the end of the third quarter, he goes for a flashy three-pointer, despite the Lakers already dominating the Knicks, to really ram home the fact that this is a demolition. Thinking that it’s going to sink into the bucket, he wheels away in celebration, only for the ball to bounce back out off the rim as he has is back to it.

He does eventually realise what’s happened, but it’s too late, and he’s embarrassed himself in front of the entire Staples Center, not to mention us folks watching at home. At least his side won anyway.
