Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs might have three NBA titles to his name but the French superstar seemed to forget how to shoot last night. Luckily the refs came to his aid.
In his long career in the NBA, San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker has scored 15,676 points, 2851 of those via free throws. For his career he is a 75 per cent shooter from the line so it is clear that Parker knows what he is doing in that most pressurised of basketball situations.
But in last night’s game against the Chicago Bulls Parker suffered what can only be described as a brain fart as he lined up a technical foul free throw. It looks like midway through his action he forgot what to do, meaning the ball just flopped out of his hands and travelled about three feet.
The referees allowed him to take it again, with the commentators suggesting the officials asked him to stop mid shot, leading to the fluffed attempt.

Whatever it was, the Bulls players were unhappy but Parker duly took, and scored, at the second attempt.
