Crying? Us? No…what are you talking about? We’ve just got something in our eye…

Derrick Coleman has shot to fame in recent weeks after an incredible ad for Duracell featuring him went viral, racking up tens of millions of views. The ad explained that he was the first and only legally deaf player in the NFL and that despite being told he could never do it, he overcame a load of obstacles to make it the NFL. It was an inspirational story for pretty much everyone, but two little Seattle fans in particular.

The two nine-year-old girls both have hearing aids too, and they wrote a letter to Derrick thanking him for being such an inspiration, which their father posted on Twitter. Coleman spotted the letter and wrote back, but ABC News were able to catch up with the two super-fans and give them a chance to chat to their favourite player in person.

Duracell, being the sound lads that they are, decided to add one further level to the surprise by getting together a few of the hottest tickets in town so that the girls and their family could head along and catch the Super Bowl. That one got us right in the feels…
