Being the absolute legend that he is, Novak Djokovic broke from tradition at Roland Garros yesterday by letting a ball boy sit next to him during a rain delay.
Not only did Djokovic make the young lad’s day – if not year – he also entertained the crowd with his sportsmanship, while also inadvertently making his opponent, Joao Sousa, look like a bit of an uncourteous d*ck.
Djokovic made room for the ball boy, who was holding an umbrella over the tennis pro, and he also offered the young lad a bottle of water after taking over the umbrella holding duties.
You can tell from the kid’s reaction that he’s simply over the moon… Fair play, Djokovic, you legend.
Unsurprisingly, Djokovic went on to win his match 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.
