Video: Olympic gold medallist expertly removes daughter's tooth with a javelin
Welcome to Parenting 101.
Meet Bryan Clay, a former Decathlete who won gold at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, and whose young daughter recently had a loose tooth.
Seeing as expertly throwing a javelin was one of his specialist Olympic skills, he thought it'd be a great idea to remove the tooth by attaching a piece of dental floss to it, tying the other end to a javelin, and launching it into the distance.
Speaking to Russia Today, Clay explained, "it’s just kind of a tradition we have done since we were kids. I pulled my teeth out by tying the floss to the door handle and my wife has done things like that."
Supposedly, the 35-year-old was initially reluctant to carry it out but, when his wife gave the thumbs up and “after my daughter nagged me and nagged me for a whole day,” Clay decided to give in.
Check out the wonderful result...
