Ulster and Ireland out-half Paddy Jackson is deservedly renowned for the playmaking and kicking skills that have elevated him to prominence for province and country to date, but he has also earned the status of mime artist par excellence thanks to his take on the JCB song and his duet with Simon Zebo on Jay Z and Kanye’s ‘Otis’, both of which were phenomenally popular and enjoyed universal acclaim,
Whilst both of those videos illustrated Paddy’s immaculate timing and rhythm, they didn’t show off his singing voice and if this effort is anything to go by, he can hold a note just as well as he can pretend to sing one.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen Paddy sing in front of a camera before…
Paddy was singing the song to help promote a new product by Kingspan Environmental called Watchman Anywhere, which aims to ensure that oil tank consumers never run out of oil again.
The Watchman Anywhere is a remote oil monitoring kit that keeps an eye on the oil tank levels then relays the information to you via an iPhone or Android App, text or email. The video has been produced to highlight this unique ‘interactive’ feature of the device that simply fits on to the top of any oil tank.
