Video: Phil Mickelson criticises US Ryder Cup captain Tom Watson in post tournament press conference
Things got pretty tense following yesterday's action at Gleneagles...
Europe pulled off a successful defense of the Ryder Cup yesterday beating the US by 16 1/2 to 11 1/2 at Gleneagles in Scotland. Go Europe!
It was a pretty comfortable victory for Paul McGinley's team as they never looked in trouble during yesterday's singles matches. While for the America side, they're still looking for their first win in the tournament since Valhalla in 2008.
Following yesterday's action, the US team in its entirety sat down to speak to the media and in a pretty amazing move Phil Mickelson laid the blame for their defeat right at the door of their team captain Tom Watson.
Here's footage from the press conference of Mickelson comparing 2008 when Paul Azinger was captain and now...
Those comments from Phil Mickelson can only be interpreted one way: Tom Watson was the wrong man for this job.
