The ITM Cup semi-finals are always bruising affairs, but Counties player Rey Lee-Lo can testify to this more than most.

His side lost 41-10 to Wellington, but during the course of the first half he was steamrolled by Wellington hooker Moto Matu’u as he made a burst for the line. Even though the Samoan centre appeared out for the count and stricken on his back, the referee allowed play to continue, with a ruck forming almost on top of the player. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Djk0f5RM6ec Thankfully he was able to continue despite the heavy knock, only fuelling the fires of the concussion debate that surrounds the sport, but was unable to help his side to victory.
