During the Ring of Honour pro wrestling event in Nashville over the weekend, one competitor almost suffered a broken neck during a botched move.

The match-up in question saw Roderick Strong taking on AJ Styles in the Ring of Honour’s main event. Everything looked to be going smoothly throughout the match until AJ attempted his signature ‘Styles Clash’ near the end of the fight.

According to Wrestlezone.com, AJ slipped as he lined up the ‘Styles Clash’, which caused Strong to land awkwardly head first onto the mat.

“It was apparent to myself and those in the balcony that when AJ went to jump forward and plant Strong, he seemed to slip a bit and AJ fell down instead of over, producing a ‘driver’ effect,” reports Wrestlezone insider Steven Culps.

So far, reports are saying that Strong was okay following the incident, but that the injury did give back room staff at the Ring of Honour quite a scare. Check it out for yourself below…
