We’ve seen ref-cam in rugby before and the view gives you a real sense of what’s going on in a game, it’s awesome.
The idea was trialed during a GAA match in Abu Dhabi on Friday night and the footage is really exciting.
GAA referee Cormac Reilly strapped the camera on during the senior men’s final between Abu Dhabi Na Fianna and Arabian Celts.
The video is edited down a good bit but it shows the massive potential of using ref-cam in GAA going forward.
