This is a little bit too up close and personal for our liking…
These two Argentinian kayakers got a hell of a fright while out for a leisurely paddle the other day. They happened to come across a family/herd/pod of whales and instead of frantically going in the opposite direction to avoid them like we would, they floated straight into the middle of them.
That was obviously a stupid move and they got their comeuppance as they ended up on the back of one of the whales who, because it had two humans on its back, decided to rise out of the water. The footage is pretty incredible…
The lesson we learned here is to never kayak into a massive whale, a good one to know.
