However, after the Seahawks beat the 49ers for their spot in the final, cornerback Richard Sherman had a few choice words for San Francisco’s wide receiver Michael Crabtree.
Speaking to FOX reporter Erin Andrews after the game, Sherman said: “I’m the best corner in the game. When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that’s the result you gonna get. Don’t you ever talk about me!”
Sherman and Crabtree locked horns on the field moments after the Seahawks made an interception that secured the NFC title win, so it’s no surprise that the outspoken defender had a few things to say following the match. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time…
