Robbie Keane may not have had a glittering Euro 2016 campaign.
The 35-year-old striker didn’t get much game time in France, but his club form hasn’t suffered. 12 minutes into LA Galaxy’s clash with Vancouver Whitecaps, Keane pulled something magical out of the bag and produced a goal the likes of which he hasn’t scored in a while.
O’Neill’s decision to keep Keane on the bench for most of the Euros didn’t raise too many eyebrows given the player’s age – but this goal proves that keeping Keane off the pitch is always a tough choice when you know he’s capable of.
Keep your eyes peeled for a nice little Steven Gerrard assist too.
