The Rugby HQ have released their top five finishes of all time, but there’s just one Irish entry in the list and even then it’s by default.
To clarify; it’s not the finishes to games that they were looking at, rather the culmination of tries, and there are some amazing scores here.
The clinical finishing of some of them will leave you open-mouthed in awe.
If you have an aversion to cringe worthy moments, skip past number three on the list. It features a certain former Munster fly-half who was run over by a rampaging South African on the way to the try line. In his defence, Jaque Fourie is a bit of a beast and has made a doormat out of far more people than just O’Gara so the Irish legend can hold his head high.
Former Munster star Doug Howlett also makes an appearance but again not for the reasons he would have liked… bad day all round for the former Munster players, but never mind, once Rugby HQ do the best finishes to games, Munster should dominate proceedings…
