The former Manchester United skipper has also been playing down the impact he had on Cristiano Ronaldo's career from a young age.
During the week, Ronaldo stated in an interview: "(Keane was) always screaming to me: 'Cristiano! Pass the ball,’" Ronaldo told Sport magazine. “But it was good! At the end of the day, I feel happy because I learned a lot from them."
Today, Keane jokingly responded: "Yeah I made him. Only for me he wouldn’t be where he is."
