VIDEO: Roy Keane looks handy with a hurl while Robbie Brady scores a peach of a free-kick in training

Two cracking efforts.

You would be excused for thinking that the atmosphere in the Irish camp is slightly nervous ahead of the Euro 2016 warm-up match against the Netherlands, after all, Martin O’Neill will be finalising his 23 man squad for France in the coming days, but there was no signs of nerves at Abbottstown today.

It’s safe to assume that Roy Keane already has a formidable reputation in the eyes of Dutch players, Marc Overmars probably still has nightmares about that tackle in ’01, but the sight of Keano with a hurl in his hand will arguably make Ireland’s assistant manager even more intimidating.

We’re not sure if Kieran Kingston will be giving the Corkman a call in the near future, but he’s well able to handle a sliotar. Robbie Keane’s passing abilities are fairly decent also.

One man that’s definitely on the plane to France is Robbie Brady and Ireland may require his dead ball expertise against Sweden, Italy or Belgium. If this free-kick is anything to go by, then their ‘keepers should be on alert.

Peach.
