We’re normally disappointed when there’s no Irish involvement in Rugby HQ’s always excellent top five segments, but not today.
This week, the theme for Sean Maloney and the Rugby HQ crew was terrible passes, inspired by Israel Folau’s terrible pass to Wycliff Palu during a recent Super Rugby encounter.
We’re not talking about passes that may have mucked up a try-scoring opportunity because they were a yard too low or too high here, we’re talking about passes so bad that it’s hard to believe that those responsible for them are paid to throw around a rugby ball for a living.
The clip above won’t make for pretty viewing for Italy’s Mauro Bergamasco and it also features arguably the most forward pass ever seen, but as usual, they’ve saved the best for last with Willie Ripia forcing the most unintentionally hilarious knock-on from All-Black Cory Jane.
Great work as usual lads.
