We can’t wait to see Paul O’Connell and company give some of these a whirl in next season’s Six Nations.

Before you ask, we should mention that, yes, Warren Gatland’s famous 14-man lineout does merit a mention in the latest top five from Sean Maloney and the Rugby HQ gang and as you might expect, it’s not from the disaster in Lens in 1998 but during Wales’ defeat to the All-Blacks in 2012.

That was only good for number two in this list and we have to say with good reason as the number one – a brilliant move by the Melbourne Rebels in 2011 – is well deserving of the top spot amongst some incredibly innovative moves at line-out time, including one team doing a salsa dance to successfully distract the opposition. You heard us.

We would have liked it if the move that led to Keith Wood’s try against England at Lansdowne Road in 2001 got a mention, but it’s a pretty good watch all the same; you’d expect nothing less from the excellent Fox Rugby crew at this stage.
