Sean St Ledger has had a bit of an up and down time during his MLS career, he was released by Orlando Rapids just weeks into his contract before signing with the Colorado Rapids.
Last night, the Rapids took on Houston Dynamo, defeating the Texas side 2-1, and St Ledger played a starring role in the win.
The tough defender is not known for his sublime skills, or tekkers as the kids these days call them, but he showed off some sleek footwork and ball skills last night to tee up fellow Irishman Kevin Doyle for a beautiful goal.
Just look at the delivery from St Ledger into the box, and the determination to get on the end of it.
We think Orlando may be regretting their decision to let him go, especially if he’s pulling off moves like this every week…
