Are you unsure what exactly goes on during the group tug-of-war that is the scrum in rugby? Never fear, former French international Sebastien Chabal is on hand to clear up your scrummaging questions.

Through the use of some Wallace and Gromit-style like animations, Chabal explains the strange sorcery that goes on within in the scrum in a surprisingly enjoyable video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaUCc50he3U This quirky little video is the first in series of clips explaining the different positions in rugby and we can’t wait until Chabal starts explaining the intricacies of backline play… we bet he has no patience for ‘tippy-tappy’ rugby, for want of a better word. The main source of confusion in the video is the fact that the man mountain himself Chabal is speaking English, which is surprising considering he refused to speak English during an interview before because, “we are in France, we speak French”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfUmW_Mf5qc Care to clear that up Sebastien? No? That’s OK Sebastien, we weren't that curious anyway… Videos via papygeek and Pr Rugby.
