“That is the worst shot I’ve ever seen a professional golfer hit” whispered Colin ‘Monty’ Montgomerie after he witnessed this drive by Sergio Garcia at the Ryder Cup today.
We all know that Monty has a habit of talking a whole loads of horse manure but to be fair he’s not far off the mark here because Sergio’s snap hook on the 5th hole at Gleneagles this afternoon was just terrible.
We all know the pressure that’s on these guys during the tournament but for a professional golfer to hit the ball out of bounds in this manner is inexcusable…
