We’re repeatedly amazed by the work that goes on behind the scenes in the lead-up to Irish weddings and we were provided with another example today.
Antrim footballer Kevin O’Boyle married the love of his life Laura McCollum at the weekend and as a special surprise on the day, Kevin’s best man, his brother Shane, called in some help from the Sky Sports GAA crew for a video tribute to the main man that was shown on the big day.
Rachel Wyse, Brian Carney, Senan Connell and Peter Canavan all starred in a short video that, in true Irish wedding tradition, has more than a little fun at the groom’s expense and was filmed all the way back on the day of the All-Ireland Football Final in September.
And that wasn’t the only memento they had to take away from the biggest day of their lives either.
