How easy is it to make one of the most watched programmes on Irish television? ‘Like nuts to a monkey’ as Cyril might say.

It’s actually not quite that easy but the process behind it will make for fascinating viewing for the many GAA fans who tune into the live programme on practically every weekend throughout the summer.

The official GAA website went behind the scenes to see what’s involved in putting it all together, while hurling analysts Eddie Brennan and the aforementioned Cyril Farrell took some time out to discuss the eagerly anticipated All-Ireland hurling final between Kilkenny and Tipperary this weekend.
