It’s hard to beat the Heineken Cup at its best but the Super XV is up there alongside it as the best club rugby competition in the world and it has provided plenty of exhilarating moments for rugby nuts willing to get up early of a Saturday morning in the last few weeks and months.

here, but the Super Rugby Plays of the Year is arguably even better, featuring some crunching hits, some brilliant tries, some sexy cheerleaders and a mascot tackling another mascot. You heard us.
With the Chiefs having defeated the Brumbies in the final last weekend, it will be a while before the Super XV is back on our screens but thankfully the PRO 12 and the Heineken Cup are only around the corner so we don’t have to wait long for a regular fix of rugby on the box again.
