New Zealand battered France without conceding a single point in Christchurch this morning and this Beauden Barrett try was the highlight of a stunning performance.

While the Lions were in action against the NSW Waratahs, the All-Blacks reminded everyone of just why they are the best team in world rugby with a quite stunning dismissal of France in Christchurch, a win made even more impressive by the fact that Dan Carter’s duties on the night extended to distributing water to his teammates.

Steve Hansen’s men won 30-0 in the end (we know all about scoring no points against the All-Blacks, France) and the highlight of the performance was a quite stunning length of the field try by substitute Beauden Barrett.

Starting the move with a scrum in their own 22, the All-Blacks moved it to the far side of the pitch before a clever kick forward was gathered by Aaron Cruden, who offloaded to an onrushing Barrett to touch down under the posts.

The quality of the video above might not be the best, but you can still appreciate the brilliance of the try all the same.

Class.
