This is nine minutes of pure footballing nirvana.

Football may be everywhere, what with the Champions League unfolding before our eyes and seldom a moment passing without some prime calcio in some form or another.

But we still miss the World Cup, and all its samba glory, which makes this compilation of all the best showboats from Brazil 2014 all the more intoxicating.

We'd also forgotten how great Angel di Maria was in the tournament, with the Manchester United winger composing roughly 37% of the following footage. Wonderful stuff altogether.
