Leinster came away from Wales with a vital win last night, but they’ll hold their hands up and admit that this Dragons try was by far and away the score of the match.

Better yet, it’s probably one of the tries of the season so far as it involved five players in a move that covered nearly the entire length of the pitch before Ross Wardle touched down in the corner.

With just over half an hour gone, Richie Rees took a quick tap penalty inside his own half and some excellent handling by Patrick Leach released Tom Prydie on the wing, who in turn fed Ross Wardle to add the finishing touches to what was a breathtaking team move.

Credit to Leinster, with a much-changed side due to injuries and international call-ups, they recovered from that setback and a 10-6 half-time deficit to come away 23-19 winners, with Aaron Dundon and Noel Reid both scoring tries and Jimmy Gopperth adding 13 points from the boot on a night when Zane Kirchner made his first start for the province.
