All we can say is… finally.
UFC fans have been waiting for this day ever since Daniel Cormier announced that he would be dropping down from heavyweight to compete at 205llbs and bring an end to Jon Jones' reign as the undisputed UFC light heavyweight champion.
You may be able to tell from this piece that we’re ridiculously excited about Saturday night and the prospect of a possible new champion at 205llbs.
At lightweight we’re in for a treat as Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone takes on the undefeated Myles Jury. Cerrone, who is on a five-fight win streak, can be seen continuing his tradition of doing extreme sports in the week of his fight as he spends his time on a snowmobile in Colorado.
But the big one has to be the grudge match between Jones and Cormier who really seem to despise one another. They were the cause of the
infamous bust-up in Las Vegas before their last scheduled fight (which was postponed until now).
