Leinster and Ireland rugby superstar Sean O’Brien has never tried to hide his farming background, so who better to go through the finer points of food processing with Supermac’s founder Pat McDonagh in a new ad for the beloved Irish fast-food chain.
Sean looks right at home discussing grass, beef and moisture with Pat and why wouldn’t he considering parts of the ad were filmed on the O’Brien family farm in Tullow?

The O’Brien collaboration maintains the strong link between the Irish rugby team and agricultural endorsements, following on from similar efforts involving Paul O’Connell, the Kearney brothers and the National Dairy Council in the past.
Hopefully a few of those 5oz burgers will have Seanie fit for Paris at the weekend.
