Yes, that’s Thomas Muller wearing a dress at the very end.

If you’re anything like us, it feels like years rather than months since the World Cup Final in Brazil earlier in the summer, but German fans will soon be able to relive it all over again by watching Die Mannschaft (The Team), a film about the national team’s brilliant success in Brazil which will be hitting cinema screens in the near future.

Granted, all the snippets from the trailer are in German but it still looks very interesting; in fact, the most interesting thing about it is probably the revelation that the terrible-looking free-kick involving a Thomas Muller stumble was actually pre-rehearsed before it all went horribly wrong out on the field against Algeria.

Muller also features wearing a dress towards the end of the trailer, while the bond and spirit amongst the squad is evident throughout and actually appears genuine and not something similar to what a certain Minister for Propaganda might have concocted a few decades ago.

Our only question now is, when it is released for English-speaking audiences, will it be subtitled or dubbed?

subtitled

Ah Jaysus.
