Mind. Blown.
When the late James Last composed Jägerlatein many, many years ago, he could never have imagined that it would have more of an impact in Ireland than anywhere else.
Apart from 2004-2008, when the (stupid) decision was made to replace it with a so-called ‘modern’ tune, Jägerlatein has formed the soundtrack to Sunday evenings in Irish homes as the theme tune for The Sunday Game.
99% of Irish people can hum, whistle or sing the instrumental version of the song by heart but it’ll never sound the same again when you hear the version with German lyrics that Will Downing posted on Twitter this evening.
Always wanted to hear the Sunday Game theme tune with German lyrics? It's your lucky day…. https://t.co/RL7vLuDtRR

He found it in Spanish too!

None of those versions are exactly new so you might have heard them before, but we’re only getting wind of them today and we honestly don’t know what to think.
We know you’re probably panicking now so the song in its more familiar format might help to calm you down a bit.
