Video: The top five hurling points of the year are out

This is the GAA’s selection, and it is hard to argue with…

It was, as we all agree, a pretty special year for hurling, and the top five points of the year, as released by the GAA today, reflects that.

With all five coming from Munster men, it shows just how much they dominated the season, culminating in an all-Munster final of course.

For us, it is still hard to beat Clare’s Podge Collins’ spinning effort against Cork, though Domhnall O’Donovan’s equaliser in the All-Ireland final might just edge his team-mate’s effort in terms of drama.

Anyway, on a cold and dark November evening, it is great to have a little reminder of the sweet, warm days of the summer Championship.
