Mullaghmore in Sligo is one of the best surf spots in the world, and they had some monster waves thanks to the storm that hit Europe this week.
The world and their mother have been talking about the
massive wave surfed by Brazilian Carlos Burle off the Portuguese coast at the weekend. In fairness, it was pretty impressive.
But the Sligo coast wasn’t too bad for big wave junkies either, as we got a bit of the storm that battered Britain and continental Europe. So some of Ireland’s bravest surfers hit the water to enjoy the big swell.
The folks at CMP Productions captured the action as these brave souls headed into the Atlantic.
