A bit of a coxed-up here…
Corpus Christi, on the nearside, took on Wolfson College (very fancy) in a novice race at the Emma Sprints Regatta in Cambridge on Sunday.
Corpus Christi were putting their backs in to it trying to stay in touch with the Wolfson gents.
They did their absolute utmost to keep up but it was all too much for one of their crewmen. Man overboard.
The poor chap’s footwear must have come loose and he was lucky he didn’t get a clatter of an oar across the sculler just after he fell out.
He must have been jolly-well embarrassed when he got back to the clubhouse, quite.
