“Keep it tight for the first five… ah feck!”

We don’t know what the record is for the fastest goal ever scored in Gaelic Football, but there was one in an Ulster schools game today that will surely run it close. It was scored by Michael Miller of St Eunan's Letterkenny against St Patrick's Armagh in the Danske Bank MacRory Cup Play-off in Dromore today, with only nine seconds elapsing between the referee’s first whistle and the ball hitting the back of the net. St. Patrick’s recovered from that incredibly early setback and the sides finished level at full-time, with Eunan’s going on to claim victory after extra-time. Thankfully for Michael, video footage of his goal was captured by the indefatigable Jerome Quinn, who claims that it could well be the quickest goal ever scored in the GAA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05cUL4icf0c We're not going to argue with Jerome, but can anyone think of anyone quicker?
