The thing you need to know about bowling balls, in case you aren't a bowling expert, is that they are very heavy. While they're not so heavy that you can't throw them into the air, they are heavy enough that if you throw one at the ceiling, you are likely to destroy that ceiling. Please observe Exhibit A:
