Malachy O’ Rourke’s men have been on an impressive upward curve in recent seasons. They’ve had successive promotions in the Allianz League, won an Ulster title and reached the All-Ireland quarter-finals in the last two years.
The new motivational video shows images from Monaghan’s march through last year’s Ulster championship as well as scenes from around the county with a voiceover from Patrick Kavanagh’s poem ‘March.’
The narrative of the clip is broken down into three segments; verse one is about defeat, verse two is about the battle and the final verse is about hope. Having seen this, the Farney’s fans will definitely be hoping to reclaim their Ulster crown from Donegal next year.
