This amazing footage captured by a GoPro camera shows the death defying leap of a BASE jumper off a cliff face in Switzerland and it also shows his hard landing back to earth.
The BASE jumper will be relieved to still be in one piece despite his parachute not opening correctly meaning that he suffered a heavy landing among a bunch of trees.
The good news is the American jumper, Heath Ordway, only suffered a few cuts and bruises and walked away from the incident with some badly stained underwear…
JOE’s favourite thing about the video is the few absolutely breath-taking moments of free fall from the top of the cliff before they activate their parachutes. It made the hairs stand up on the back of our necks.

jumping from a busy high rise in the centre of London and these type of videos seem to be getting more and more popular.
