Not bad for someone who never made a first team appearance for them.

It’s a long time since Raheem Sterling wore the blue and white hoops of QPR, but the winger has given his former club a huge boost by sealing a move to Manchester City.

Thanks to a shrewd 20% sell-on clause included in the small print when Sterling joined Liverpool in 2009, the R’s stand to pocket around £9m – not bad for a player who never made a single first-team appearance.

Sterling was just 15 when he left for Anfield, but this clip from Soccer AM’s Skills School challenge shows he was always going to be a star…
