One Norwegian clothing company has produced a unique take on the equality debate at the Winter Olympics.

The Sochi Olympic Games has seen plenty of companies focus their advertising campaigns on equality in support of the LGBT athletes travelling to the games to represent their countries in a variety of events.

That’s exactly what Norwegian outdoor clothing company XXL have done with their ad for the games in Russia, as they pumped a pretty large wedge of cash into this high budget advertisement, which has plenty of computer generated graphics, sports people and good-looking models in it.

You might not recognise some of those featured in the ad, but the folks at The Huffington Post have helpfully pointed out that freestyle footballer Anders Solum and frisbee player Sune Wentzel both star and show off their skills for the cause.

The final line of the ad reinforces that no matter what ‘team’ you’re on, you shouldn’t be discriminated against, something which was also pointed out in a brilliant letter to The Irish Times earlier today by one lady from Cork.
