Rugby union and league star Sonny Bill Williams has starred in an advert for adidas detailing how he wants to be remembered in sport and how the highs and lows have changed his career.
Having achieved so much in his career so far in various sports, he would be forgiven for taking his foot off the gas a little bit. However, the New Zealand centre wants to push on even more and be remembered “as someone who gave it a go and tried their best,” and through the mistakes he made and will make in future, he aims to become a better person and sportsman.
With this attitude it easy to see why he has risen to the top of his field and why the likes of us still dream about the glory days from when you scored that wonder try at for the local u8’s.
